Gold Coast Family Theme Parks

Chuckie from Rugrats

The Gold Coast, Australia, has built its reputation on fantastic beaches, the incredible range of nightlife venues as well as the fabulous Gold Coast theme parks. Don't worry, young families are not forgotten. Where do we start?

Dreamworld is a paradise for little children - Wiggles World, Sponge Bob Square Pants water play, Angry Beavers Spooty Spin, Nickelodeon Central and loads more fun - ideal for young children. Try the Tower of Terror for the 'big kids'. All the family loves Tiger Island and the Australian Wildlife Experience.

Movie World has a host of young entertainment including Shrek 4 D adventure, Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster, Looney Tunes Village or River Ride. The whole family will be amazed at the Police Academy Stunt Show.

Sea World, the original 'World', hosts spectacular shows featuring dolphins, seals, sharks and more. Polar bears frolic in an icy world and there is an array of water playgrounds, rides and shows for all age groups.

With the great weather enjoyed in Australia, Wet 'n' Wild is perfect all year round. Come adventuring in Buccaneer Bay or in the Giant Wave Pool (shallow on the edge) and relax at Calypso Beach.

Paradise Country Aussie farm is a great hands-on experience for the whole family. Children will love bottle and hand feeding the baby farm animals. Bush dancing, billy tea and damper, sheep shearing, working dogs and stock horses all add to the fun.

Other great Gold Coast family theme parks include, Currumbin Wild Sanctuary, Fleay's Wildlife Park and Olsen's Bird Gardens.
